BAND: Justin Fallen Wears White Leather Shoes

This was an indie folk trio I had in Austin. After I'd recorded two albums, I wanted to free things up some. Have more room to experiment. So Dylan Stephens, Evan Joyce and I would take my songs and stretch them out and spin them around a bit, or take Tom Waits or Valerie June or Phantogram songs and turn them into groove folk. We never recorded, which I regret, because we had a special sound. We also never really had a formal name besides Justin Fallen. Every show we'd change the name depending on how things were feeling that show. My favorite of our many names was Justin Fallen Wears White Leather Shoes.
